Connecting your Google Calendar
Block slots with existing events and push new bookings into Google Calendar.
Why connect
With Google Calendar connected, events already on your calendar block your bookable slots, and every new booking is written into your calendar. You won't get double-booked, and your phone calendar stays the source of truth.
Each person connects their own
Connections are per staff member, not per business. You connect yours under My Settings; each teammate does the same for theirs.

Google Calendar
ConnectedBusy times block your bookable slots. New bookings are added automatically.
How to connect
- Open My Settings.
- In the Google Calendar card, click Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in to Google and approve access.
- You land back on My Settings with a toast confirming the connection.
The card then shows a Connected badge, the Google account you used, and when it last synced.
What is shared
Only busy and free information is read. Event titles, guests and details stay private. New bookings are added as events; cancellations remove them; reschedules move them.
Keeping it fresh
Busy times refresh on a schedule in the background, and Sync forces an immediate refresh. The last sync time is shown under the card.
When Google stops accepting the connection
If access is revoked, the card shows Reconnect needed and slots stop being blocked by your Google events. Reconnect with one click. booqbee also emails the staff member and the business admins so nothing quietly drifts.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect. Events already in Google stay where they are; from then on new bookings no longer sync and busy times no longer block slots.
