Client confirmations and reminders

What clients receive

Two kinds of email go to your clients, both controlled from Client Reminders (admins only):

• A confirmation the moment they book.
• One or more reminders a set number of hours before the appointment.

Each email carries a secure link they can use to cancel or reschedule, subject to your cancellation cutoff.

Turn confirmations on or off

Flip Send confirmation email on booking. When it's on, edit the subject and body with the rich text editor. When it's off, clients get nothing at booking time.

Build a reminder schedule

1. Flip Send reminder emails to clients on.
2. Set how many hours before the appointment each reminder goes out — 24 for the day before, 2 for a last-minute nudge.
3. Add as many reminders as you need, and switch individual rows off without deleting them.
4. Write one subject and body used by all of them.

Template variables

Type these into the subject or body and booqbee fills them in per booking:

Before you save, click Send test email to send the template as it stands to your own address.

Requirements

Client reminders are a Pro and Business feature. On Starter you see an upgrade prompt in place of the settings. See Plans, billing and upgrades.
