Staff records vs accounts

Every person who takes bookings has a staff record: name, contact email, photo, bio and availability. A staff record can also be linked to an app account, which is what lets them sign in, see their own calendar and receive personal reminder emails.

Add a team member

1. Go to Staff.
2. Click Add staff.
3. Enter their name and contact email — this is what clients see.
4. Save, then tick the services they deliver in the Services card.

Linking an account

When a staff member registers with the email on their staff record, the two are linked and they can sign in. Invite them to register first, then add the record with the same email.

Promoting someone to admin

An admin can manage the whole business: services, staff, hours, reminders, branding and billing.

• A Shield icon appears next to a linked staff member — click it to promote.
• A linked admin shows a crossed-out shield so you can demote them again.
• You cannot demote yourself, and unlinked records can't be promoted.

Checking what someone sees

Click the eye icon on a staff row to view the app as that person. Their calendar and availability open, with a banner reminding you that changes are made on their behalf. Exit any time from the banner.

Weekly hours and services

Select a person to edit their services, weekly hours and — on Business — time off. Details in Setting up working hours and Blocking time off.

Plan limits

Adding someone beyond the limit is refused with a message naming your plan.
